The Third (Not Exactly) Annual Twin Cities Treasure Hunt

This Hunt is a 24 Hour race around the Twin Cities in which teams of up to 5 people must solve puzzles to gather clues that will eventually lead you to the finish line.  The race starts Saturday, September 19th at 11am when each team is given their packet of puzzles to solve and then the first team to get to the finish line and claim the correct trophy wins a prize of $500!

So how do you enter?  Well, even that is a challenge!

First off, this is a fundraiser for our lodge and thus there will be a registration fee of $50 per team to help us raise money (and cover the cost of the prize money).

Secondly, you must pass the qualification round.  To find out how to register, and where the race begins, you must first prove your worthiness by solving a set of puzzles.  There are 10 puzzles altogether.  Some are easier, some are harder, but you need to solve each one to get to the next and eventually to the registration page.  Each puzzle has a clue to help you along.  Sometimes the clue is explicit and other times it is hidden.  The puzzles are similar to the ones you'll find in the treasure hunt, but since you have months rather hours to solve them, they are a bit harder.
